Reclaimed Elm Anchor Bench

Our “Clipper Ship Collection” is made of reclaimed timber which has been in use for over 150 years. This timber is salvaged from old warehouse buildings that were built in the mid 1800’s. Now after nearly two centuries, these old warehouses are being pulled down. We are reclaiming this old, unique timber…….support post, beams and flooring to be recycled into fine furniture. Every table retains the distinctive, rich and unique features of the “150 Year Old” timber. No two pieces are the same. We are using this timber to make our handcrafted “Clipper Ship Collection”

Each table is an original and every piece of solid timber has its own story to tell. This timber is strong, with distinctive features such as worm holes, nail and bolt holes, patches and splits.

As this heirloom furniture lives in your home and adapts to its new surroundings, some expansion and contraction will occur in these solid woods, this is quite natural and will vary depending on the climactic conditions- “Season Cracks” are to be expected!
