With this collection, we take the great pleasure of restyling Louis XV & XVI and making them suitable for everyday use. These designs are fresh interpretations of French and European Classics. They incorporate the style of favorite antique finds and are skillfully hand carved in Beech wood and constructed by traditional Mortis & Tenon joinery. Our pieces are constructed without bolts or mechanical processes.
Hardwoods of Beech wood and oak are used with Lime wash detailed finishes. Paint finishes are applied by hand and then artistically rubbed back to resemble a smooth natural wear & tear finish. An oil based stain is used to seal and age the water-based paint finish. All of these steps ensure that these pieces are individual, and will age to be the antiques of tomorrow.
