They feature loose, goose down pillow backs and seat cushions. An inner core of high density foam is wrapped in goose down and compartmentalized so to minimize lumping. The originals were not compartmentalized; therefore you had some “Hiney Marks”. With the improved compartmenting, shifting of the down is prevented. These may require “occasional” re-fluffing but offer extraordinary comfort and overall improvements. You will love the comfort of the reproduction more than the antique originals
