Antique Spanish Counter Island

These pieces feature surfaces that are hand painted and distressed. Only dye type stains are used to accentuate the wood and provide more natural finish. All exterior surfaces are finished with durable furniture sealers to protect the wood and resist water. These pieces are hand made from solid wood and are more substantial as compared to most name brand furniture. Tables are planked; backs, moldings and shelves are solid. This is not "manufactured" looking furniture and blemishes or imperfections are not covered up but rather included as part of the finish; we say "blessed with nature's perfect imperfections". This look was designed for antique lovers and casual environments. Expect slight variations. Most products are produced with accacia , a very heavy and dense wood similar to mesquite.
